Default Highway pegs without crash bar

I would like to add a set of highway pegs to stretch out my legs on longs ride, but I am not interested in adding a crash bar.
Do I have any options or do I need to buy a crash bar?
Thanks!

You don't need a crashbar - I have a set of adjustable ones on my SuperLow that attach to the frame. Just go to the Shop page of the H-D website.

Will these work with forward controls?

Don't know, I have them with stock mids. Check the H-D website, as suggested, where you can read the installation instructions, which may answer that query. There are various versions available.

DK has a decent set of adjustable ones...

http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/foot...dware-c117.htm

Scroll down to "Stealth Adjustable Highway Peg Mounting Kit".

I would also recommend the "Powder Black Heel Rest Bracket & Arm Kit".

Can you install with forwards...? Don't think so... They mount to the same holes on the frame I believe. Besides... Not sure one would want to. If you're going with highway pegs, better to have the mids. That way you can move your feet back and forth between the two as needed. Plus mids provide better control when needed.

Here they are on mine...

If you have a Dyna with mid-controls, I have a set of highway pegs I could sell you. I took them off to install forward controls on mine. Let me know if you're interested. Mine look like this except mine is chrome.

Another option is a mustache bar or highway bar that just goes on the front frame above the forward controls, like this:
Amazon Amazon
There are a lot of guys who have a thick bar on the frame or mounted where the forward controls go on their Dynas, that is similar to the first one.
Hope this helps.

Kuryakyn has one that will work with forward controls, I had it on my bike when I purchased it.

no. They attach where your forward are mounted. Most of the options being thrown out are the same. Made to sit where the fowards are.

If you need one to work with forward controls, you can use one like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/HARLEY-DYNA...item2aa548a437
This mounts to the frame next to the forward control mount. Though they can end up pretty close to the forward controls, they shouldn't interfere with their operation. I have one like this on my Dyna with 2" extended forwards, and it works fine.

The Stealth Adjustables work with mid controls.

With forwards, you may like to get some Forward Control Extensions. That may put you in a more comfortable position 100% of the time.

What I did recently, with my forward control Sporty, was put some Sporty Floorboards on it. Can't tell you how much more comfortable and stable they are.

Can put my feet back to almost a mid-control position, can be in a typical forward control position, and can really stretch out all the way too.
