Default Fuel Pump fuse location?

Im looking for the fuel pump fuse to pull it and purge the line of high pressure fuel. 2012 Custom

following the wiring diagram from the fuel pump i cannot find a fuse, only the system relay. probably not a good idea to pull a relay thats tied to the ECM?

Don't pull a fuse or relay-

Purge the fuel supply line of high pressure gasoline.
a. Remove left side cover.
b. Remove fuel pump connector fromECM caddy cover
c. Unplug fuel pump connector . 141A in the electrical diagram.
d. Start engine and allow vehicle to run.
e. When engine stalls, operate starter for 3 seconds to
remove any remaining fuel from fuel hose.
f. Shut off ignition.

I always like learning something new. Why not pull the fuel pump fuse and and start the bike?

Because there is no fuse for the fuel pump

If you pull the replay to stop the pump you also cut the ignition, makes it hard to start the bike.

Gotcha. The bike you gave advice for must be different than my 2011 Road King. I pull the fuel pump fuse, start and run the bike till it dies every time I take off the fuel tank.

Interesting, I guess I should read the manual, I just wraped a rag around the quick connect and disconnected it. I've done that something like five times in the last 11 years and it hasn't seemed to hurt anything.

That's what I do on my sportster. Hardly enough gas comes out to wet the rag. Never been a problem.
