Default CHEAP, small, extra fuel (1/2 gallon) for 48

For those of you worrying about the 48 running out of fuel this is the best cheap, gasoline-dedicated, fuel container I've found. This fits the bill of a half gallon that I was searching for and gives me at least 20 miles if needed. Unlike the metal ones this didn't cost an arm and a leg. The spout is not a real tight fit (unlike the cap) so needs to be held in with a little pressure so you don't drop fuel on your tank. Left it upside down full of fuel for a day and not a drop leaked out of the cap which means it also didn't stink up the bag it was in.
First tried a couple of 1/2 gal detergent bottles but they either leaked and/or stunk up the bag.

There are commercial products that solve this issue. Like this one:

https://rotopax.com/rotopax/fuel-packs/

a person could make a nice mount for this on a back rack-

which would hold this gallon can safely-

Yeah, it's not cheap. But my neighbor has one on the back of his ATV. It's a sturdy piece of gear. Seems to be warranteed for 10 years according to the site.

Also: Made In USA.

Personally, I would rather buy a side solo bag with a gas can instead of that. No affiliation but I like La Rosa. Their bags are expensive but they do have stuff on clearance every so often at good prices.

There are cheaper fuel bottles, but I really dig this one with the racing skeleton and not your normal red bottle. I use it when dirtbiking in the Rockies. Would add to the Harley motif!

Love that “Low Tech” approach. Simple yet very functional. I swapped out my peanut tank for the 3.3 gallon tank.

La Rosa has some nice swingarm bags with fuel bottles. You can see them HERE!
