Hey all, thanks in advance for taking a read any ideas you may think of will be greatly appreciated! So riding my 2000 sportster 1200s at the end of last season on a ride as I let the clutch out it died ( did not stall it ). Tried to start the bike again and it would just crank, I turned the ignition to off and immediately back to on to start and it fired right up with no issue until later in the day where same Scenario died and had to turn the ignition off then back on. I’m suspecting an electronic issue of some sort, had my coil bench tested and all is well, over the winter I drained the fuel checked the petcock screen to be clean, rebuilt the carb which also clean, new fuel and again bench tested the coil. It is random when it happens as I have been out a few times this year and still same symptoms, it does it choke on or off, throttle on or off, and hot or cold and also brought to dealer and go figure a ghost symptom. Any thoughts folks? Thanks!
