Default 2005 Sportster XL1200C Turn Signals

Hi,Hope You can help a buddy from Poland in need I've become a proud owner of a Harley, bought it and shipped from USA. Law in my country requires me to change my rear turn signals to orange.
My turn signals look like this https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...-trim-ring-kit .
Most shops in Poland sell this kind of turn signals http://allegro.pl/show_item.php?item=7361612515#thumb/2 .
Now my question, are those interchangeable? Or do i need to look for the ones with the trim ring? Thanks for help.

If you remove the trim ring (which is an add on) you should be able to use the regular style. The regular one is what is on it from the factory, whereas the trim ring is added after the fact.

yes, they should be a direct swap. do you have a rear fender mounted brake light? if your rear turns are red, I would assume they were being used as brake lights as well

Yeah, that might be a problem because those will turn on with the brake.

Induro, have someone pull the brake for you and see if the rear turn signals light up when the brake is applied. if so, you have an RBT module that will have to be deleted in order to make them solely turn signals. I dont know the laws for your country but if there is no law against amber brake lights and you dont mind it then it wont be a problem
