I had one for 4 or 5 years before trading it for a Heritage. Loved the Sportster, rarely rode the Heritage even though it was a nice bike. Wish I still had it.

25K on mine in a shade under 3 years. I traded up to the Dyna, but I'll always have a soft spot for the Sporty!

So after a year and 7,000+ miles, are you satisfied with the bike as is or do have other upgrades in mind?

This is mine. Custom colour in 2017. I thought when I chose it, it was the two tone but that apparently was red.

Many happy returns for tomorrow. What are you buying your bike to celebrate?

Pretty much happy with where it is now. No real future plans as of now, other than to just ride it.

I'll have had mine for 2 years in October. It has been rock solid for me. The only problem I have with it is that I can't stop buying new upgrades to keep making her mine.

I hear 'ya... Not that I'm looking to do anything else to the bike, IF I were I might look into the 1200 Iron seat. Might demo one for s**ts & giggles.

Well, that and maybe a chin spoiler SOMEBODY stop me...

Same here. One year today. Other than bitching at the moment that it needs new tires, I'm still just as thrilled as the day I got it. 25,000+ kms and counting.

Just over a year on mine (SLT) and still very satisfied. Better bags, seat , a rack or two and almost 17k miles. Should be up to 20k but had to cancel a trip this Spring. Do need to replace HL with LED. Really looking forward to Sept. trip. Think it is a great one-up tourer/day ride in the V-twin format. Basic service is ridiculously easy--like the old days. Rubber selection is sort of limited.
