Default Newbie Here

hey newbie here I just picked up a 2019 iron 1200 and love it but I was curious on how many miles to one tank I wanna take a trip to ca from phx and kinda wanted to map out my stops for fuel also kind thinking about hard bags for the trip ? Thanks

i got 3.3 gallon, 55ish mpg, 120ish miles i fill up...........takes 2.5 gallon, was 2.8 before tank lift, havent tested my reserve, but i would think another 40ish miles

Did you break in the bike already? Mileage may vary depending on your personal riding habits, weather conditions, trip length, vehicle condition and vehicle configuration and other conditions. Your bike has a rating of 48 mpg fuel economy. Did you make any modifications? I had stage 1 and got about 38 mpg. I had a 4.5 gal tank and used 100-120 miles as my fill-up point. Many on here get way better mileage than I do perhaps because of the type of riding i.e. city versus long distance. For a 3.3 gal tank, 100 miles per tank is a safe gauge IMO. Have fun on your trip!

i also have a stage 1 with short shots and now I’m braking the bike is now won’t be doing a trip on the bike for a long time due to work sending me out of town every week so I’m only riding on the weekends

Here is the ones I had on my 2011. Quick release so you can ride without it but you will need to relocate your rear turn signals.
