Right on, I think I'll go with the 16 cell once I get closer to wiring. My set up will be rear brake light, head light and ignition switch (starter button on the starter). I'd think I can make my wiring pretty darn simple.

I would LOVE to see how you wire this. This is currently all I have on my bike, but I'm using the stock loom with things cut off/terminated. When/if I end up hardtailing mine, I'd love to have a legit reference and not just a hand drawing to reference!

Yeah that's exactly what I was doing before I tore my bike apart. I'll try to be as detailed as I can once I get to that point. I'm hoping my custom wiring loom will be much easier to hide without all the extra wires.

I guess I'm a bit confused. Did you buy just the tail-section kit from LedSled and not the
entire "fender/battery-box/oil-tank" kit ? If it was the combo-kit, I would think all the parts
would fit together with no issues. Sounds like you have other non-LedSled parts trying to
get them to work together.

thanks for any insight,

T.

I see your getting the change thing down pat DP. I like mocking parts up and standing back a day or two to see if I actually like it. Battery was only 230 shipped.

Yeah that's a good call, I need to give myself some time before I commit to a change. Awesome on the battery, I'm happy to pay for less weight and size.

Anyone have a way to get the motor back in the frame relatively easily? I'd ask a friend, but none of mine want to help hahahaha
