I'm assuming you chopped the fender at the swing arm before painting.

Very cool!! Like BA said, the slight rake to the sissy makes a difference.
But DAMN!! that seat still looks like a sliding board.

I haven't studied sissy bars but on other bikes are they raked to be parallel with the forks? Does that work or is it then too much?

Seems to work good for me, i’ll be putting my plate and brake light on it, so i wanted it pretty vertical. i think the slight touch angled back is a pretty decent compromise.

Hahahaha! so far the seat and spring combo seem to work good for me. haven’t slid off the back of this one yet hahaha
