Ok picked up some flange headxbolts on the way home. All they had them in were grade 8 but thats ok. Will be stronger in case I have to bear down on them again.

Yep, battery terminal bolts are 10 mm. Can't think of what else I've had to use metric tools on the HD's.

front brake calipers held on with metric and my rear shock lower bolts found out metric yesterday.......mainly sae tho.........previous owner maybe? not sure

No they were HD bought and installed parts, but as I mentioned my eyes are not right yet from surgery, so I THOUGHT it was allen. Pretty funny looking back.

Alot of the suspension fasteners will be metric since items like the forks are Showa units. As more and more parts are farmed out to overseas suppliers, we will see more metric fasteners.

Well thats too bad. Should be kept one. Let them supply to our specs. Of course they would charge more. Better uet let it all be built here. Bring the jobs back. Make European bikes to their standards. Just being an old fart I guess.

i keep both in the house, something breaks, i take it apart, fix it, car or microwave dont matter............last couple yrs i couldn't even read what socket i grabbed, which one fit better, thats the one i used....recently got https://steellabels.com/product/chro...-blue-edition/ and holyshit i can SEE

The Allen bolts that hold the fork dampener rod are metric, the front and rear brake pad pin bolts too. Almost any aftermarket accessory will also be metric. That's it so far...
