Me too. I have a large bag of zip ties I got for free. The only thing I keep in there is the FP3 which I hardly ever need to get to.

I used to use zip-ties as well, but then I had to carry clippers to be able to cut it off if I have a fuse issue.
And I had to carry more zip-ties (I do anyway, never know when they'll be needed) so I switched to the velcro.

Recommend you become good friends with your powder-coater...

good luck,

Or you could get reusable ties: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Commerci...B-10/203531945

But Velcro is just as good.

This is why I use a piece of electrical wire that can be twisted or untwisted.

Back in the '60s, when I worked at a bakery, we used those twist ties on the bread we baked/sliced and the bagels we put in plastic bags for delivery to hotels/casinos here. By the '70s we had progressed to using the flat square pieces of plastic, on the bread, that are currently in use. That was a little quicker.

Those twist ties were what caused me to use a piece of wire to prevent my battery cover from falling off.

Here is a thread with different remedies for battery cover popping open....I used zip ties but it is a hassle when you need to get in there i.e. need cutters and extra ties.. If newer clips do not improve the cover's hold, I personally like drilling a hole in the top clip and dropping a larger zip in the hole i.e. no need extra tools or supplies, but did not have the set-up (type of clips) to do the same.
