Garage door/gate opener

Garage door/gate opener
I know HD sells a garage opener that works off the high beam, but that is a single door item and will not work well for me. I live in the country, and we do have an electric gate that opens for our main road. Odd for country, but it is what it is.
All our other vehicles have the 3 button system buit in to operate such items. We use all three. One for the gate, one for house garage and one for my workshop. GM calls it Homelink. These operate off vehicle battery power, so no batteries to replace.
I want a similar setup on my 07 and have a couple options. One option is to buy a homelink off ebay and wire it into the bike. Not a big job, just time. I would also have to seal and mount the circuit board somewhere on the bike, and probably wire up some remote pushbuttons since I doubt the circuit board would look very good on the bars. It is only about 2x3" but still.... The other option, is I have a system I had rigged to my old XL600 until zi sold it. I still have that system, but it uses 2 different remotes and two different voltage batteries. So if I use that one it would have to be wired to run off bike battery. This is a security thing to keep someone from opening other doors with it on the bike and power off.
Problem is I do not know enough about electronics to convert the 12v battery source to 9v and 3v the two remotes use. I assume it can be done through resistors, but kinda at a loss. I do not want to keep as is and have to always replace batteries.
Also have no desire to keep sticking remotes in my pockets as I have recently been doing. More crap to lose and keep track of.
suggestions?

Have some fun. Put a ramp outside the gate and jump it instead of using a remote. Amaze friends, family, and your neighbors.
I just carry the garage remote in my pocket, never had a problem losing it. Most of them are pretty compact today.

True, I just replaced my garage door motor and now can use my phone apps to monitor and operate the garage door.

Well I know there is no "app" for the main gate, and as I mentioned, 2 differentcgarage doors to open. Plus I want to get away from carrying an opener I can lose, and/or have to dig in my pocket to find. I used the current setup on my Honda XL600 with total satisfaction, but want to upgrade to one powered byvthe bike.
I just did a google search (prob should have done this to start) and found this https://www.ebay.com/i/271428180853?...16d260ffd620ac To accomplish part of it. Now I need to find one down to 3 v and wire them into the battery. There is already a 12v lighter receptical wired to the bike, for key on only operation, that I can tap into for the powercsource.
Once I find something for the 12-9v I will begin work on it.
