The specific comment I was addressing was the notion that the trap door trans is less suitable for high power applications. In fact, it holds up very well in high power applications.

Bottom line is, we may wish that Harley had not done away with the trap door but it is what it is and the thought never crosses my mind. I mean I never worry about it.
