For future reference HD does make a rearset for the Forty Eight/Sportsters and the part number is: 50700040

I just found it in the 2019 Catalog page 58

Just an update on where the build is currently at--

Got the HD Cafe Custom tail section color matched in the Legend denim blue HD paint a few weeks back and the new seat position makes the clip on's and rearsets SO much more comfortable and natural feeling.
Also installed the $120 progressive fork spring kit to match the 13" progressive 412 rear shocks and now the bike truly feels like a sport bike... I can confidently scrape peg at 80mph+ and everything feels soooo much more smooth and stable. The $120 fork spring kit from progressive is by far the best $120 I've put into the bike. I'd still be just as happy if they were double the price--the improvement in handling is worth so much more than the $120 price tag (and i actually got them for free because i get 10% back in rewards at my local HD dealer for being a loyalty member and had enough rewards saved up after getting the cafe tail section).

The build is still in progress (hell, it'll be in progress as long as I own the bike haha) but I am loving where it's at right now. Planning on doing a clutch upgrade next, then a 2-1 exhaust, then cams, valve springs, and lifters.....and then finally, convert to chain-drive once my belt slippage becomes too extreme to deal with. But so far, I am extremely happy with everything I've done with the bike. Here are some pics:
