anyways this is currently where im at.. decided to go with reduced reach forward's and 13" progressive 412 rear shocks which make the ride near perfect since im only about 5'8" 140lbs... also ditched the short shots and went back to factory headers since the reduced reach brackets wouldnt fit with the SS's.. threw some crusher maverick 2.5" slip on's on there and now the bike finally feels alive.
pics are from before i installed the 13" 412's, i'll take some updated pics soon

Finally got the rearsets! Found a HD set new unopened in the box on FB marketplace for a good price. Just installed them so I'll take better pics in the morning, but here ya go:
Now, time to change handlebars.. Still thinking about going with clip on's, but idk about dealing with relocating all the wiring and cables and brake lines, etc .
Any suggestions? Looking at clip on's, a Clubman, or maybe a drag bar... i want something aggressive enough for me to scrape peg and take corners at higher speeds, but also something thatll be comfortable for all-day rides... Thoughts?

You must be young. I could not sit like that more than a few minutes before my knees would start screaming at me.
So is this to be your Duc-Davidson? Or maybe a Harley-cati?
At my last house my next door neighbor sold his Panterra (yup he had one) and bought a Ducati. He was in his late 50's. Sure surprised me. He did not push the bike like a young guy would but loved to ride it. Even when young, I didn't care for that type of seating position.
Glad you are making this your own style of bike. That is the essence of HD in my opinion, and the sporty is the perfect platform for it.
