I wouldn't run any thing that puts oil in my intake. But that's just me.

The comments about reading the spark plugs are spot on. However, I would tread very carefully about increasing the air flow without a tune and new jets. Bad stuff can happen if your bike is running too rich, and worse stuff happens if it is too lean. My question: Why are you wanting to install the high flow air cleaner? If your plan is to do a Stage 1 conversion, I suggest you save your money until you can do the whole project. This is the advice I was given, and it proved to be the right approach. Suggest you find a reliable mechanic you can trust and have him/her look at your bike. The few bucks it will cost you may save you a lot of bucks and grief.

BTW: I have a 2017 1200T Sportster and just did the Stage 1 upgrade. Runs and operates much better; it was definitely worth the money.

Reason was for it looks a lot better then the stock filter. I plan on getting the jets done after I put the SE on. What all does the stage 1 consist of?

Higher flowing intake, higher flowing exhaust, and retuning the fuel (either rejetting or reprogramming ECM).

Ok yeah I知 gonna put the SE heavy breather on and get it rejetted. Ordered a part number of 29264-08A that my local Harley shop gave me so I hope it痴 right. Found it cheap online at another Harley shop.
