Did you read this disclaimer? That means it is definitely routing the blow by back into the engine, not good.

I have an SE and rerouting those lines is next on my list. I did it for my diesel truck, now the bike.

Has anyone used a DK Customs Air Cleaner? Any review/advice?

DK Customs has good quality products. The 425, 636, V stack mentioned above are all DK products. I believe they also have the 587 and 606. I personally used their 587 with chrome bobber cover. Performed as a high flow AC should.

DK Customs 587 with chrome bobber cover and double filtered external breather bolts

Arlen Ness Deep Cut Inverted AC with DK completely discrete external breather system

Also used Kuryakyn Velociraptor V-stack with K&N filter and DK double filtered external breather bolts

They all performed the same and did not need to retune with change....so for me, it was all about the look. Stayed with the Arlen Ness.

So pick the one with the style you like best...as long as it is a stage 1 high flow AC

Looks awesome. I’m thinking of doing the 587, just debating if I want the breather bolts or discrete breather system. Do you ever get blow by with your breather bolts?

Very minimal since I used double filters. It comes with one filter but you can ask them to make it double before ship.

They also have the one that goes up and between the heads...that seems functional as the oily mist would go thru the breather or go back into the heads where it would be burnt. They did not offer these when I modded my sporty.

That has unfortunately not been my experience. If the oily mist doesn't go through (and out) it does NOT go back in all the way. Because of the umbrella valves, in my case it got trapped and accumulated in that area. Then when I am stopped at a traffic light, smoke comes out like a small choo-choo train as the oil boils/burns away.

Thanks for the insight based on your real life experience.

I have not used it but have done some research. I asked tech support what happens to the oily mist that does not make it out into the atmosphere.

The Outlaw 636v intake outperforms the SE Heavy Breather.
