Help in choosing slip on exhaust
#25
Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and purchased the Street Canons. I wasnt looking for performance. Im a novice rider, and even if I wasnt, I dont see the enjoyment in pushing my bike to its performance limits. Its not what attracted me to HD. I love aesthetics, and sound. The main reason I went with the SE is that I live in the suburbs. I have very good neighbors, we all respect each other, and I dont want to wake them up when I come home at midnight. I read that SE are slightly louder, but give off the distinctive HD sound. Thats exactly what I wanted. Another reason is many people claim that the performance oriented mufflers are too loud and causes ear/head fatigue when riding on highway or for prolonged periods of time. Im also not a fan of drilling/ cutting or altering the mufflers. In my opinion and mine only, its kind of hacky. To each their own. So with all of that, Im going with the SE, and we go from there.

Rush slip-on's with 1.75 baffels are the best performing ones. Dyno tested @ hammer performance along with other slipons and 2-1's as well. Check it out link below

For Rush slip on's sound, check out Shawn smaok's YouTube channel..he talks about how deep they sound, also has the install video as well. Its Good channel
Raspy high pitch sound : V&H twin slash, straight shots, Magnaflow legacy etc.
Deep bass : Bassani firepower 3", Rush 3" 1.75 baffels.
All vids in the tube
