Wrinkle Black spray paint on the rocker covers
High temp Primer
3 heavy coats of wrinkle black paint with about 10 mins dry time between each
Couldn't wait to mount the covers up and you can see a few areas of touch up paint haha I guess I need to be more patient
Started with using a wire wheel attached to a drill to rough up the chrome a bit then hit some of the harder to reach areas with some 120 grit sand paper. Cleaned all oils from the surface with acetone then was ready for paint. I used VHT high temp primer (1 light coat and 1 heavy coat - 5 mins between) and VHT high temp wrinkle black paint (3 heavy coats - 10 mins between) from Advance Auto for $24. After the last coat of paint dried for 10 minutes, I applied the heat gun on high over the rocker covers for about 15 minutes (until paint wrinkled). Project took about 3 hours from start to finish with covers re-installed to sit and completely dry while on the bike. I would recommend letting these dry longer before re-installation as I had a few spots that needed touch ups.

LED headlight bulb upgrade and 20% blue tint on headlight lens to match the tank color
$6 headlight tint vinyl from Amazon. We'll see how long it lasts!
Also got a small pouch to carry things like my registration, wallet and phone (since there is virtually nowhere to put things on this bike). Just need to find where I put my black zip ties and maybe lower the location of the horn for safety reasons..
Doesn't appear to change the lens color much when the light is on - which is exactly what I wanted!
