Ok Thanks. I was referring to the tubes that go into the triple clamps, but now see that was incorrect. So if I am understanding you correctly, all I need to get a taller front end, and more travel are longer damper tubes? I realize brake lines and cables might be an issue too, but for now am just wondering about the forks themselves.

Lewk, sorry, missed the last sentence in your post. Read it on my phone first time. Will look into that part. Like you, I also got 13" shocks, so sounds like a plan.

They won't be an issue, unless they run completely vertically and have no slack in them.

Am seeing aftermarket prices around $30 each, does that sound about right?

Do they increase travel, or just raise the front end? I suppose at this point either will work, but more travel would be nicer.

Lewk
Did you have to get a longer jiffy stand?

Here is what happened to my XL1200L after changing to longer damper tubes:

No, although my bike does lean more but I didn't think it was unacceptable.

I do carry a 1" thick plastic tile in my fork bag just in case I need to put it under the jiffy. But mainly, that's in case I have to park on soft soil.
