Lead hunting ammunition is already outlawed here in CA. Solid Copper bullets for large game and varmints, bismuth or steel shot for waterfowl and upland game. I'm not even sure dove loads are still allowed to be made of lead. I go to Yuma for dove season so have not shot doves in CA in many, many years.
Not sure what they've done about .22 LR rounds since the bullet design is different than any centerfire rounds. Perhaps still exempt from lead bans.

Good points by you. I will just go on a diet and save the 8lbs.
wife would like that too

Be careful. I run lipo in my r/c cars. There's a reason you're supposed to charge them inside of a fireproof bag (for r/c purposes). These lipos are molotov cocktails if you don't follow the directions. Which is why I don't care to use them in my bike.
Just saw an article about a parked Tesla that spontaneously combusted. Thankfully it wasn't parked in the homeowners garage.
Here's a video of what happens when a nickel sized lipo battery gets too hot. Imagine a 6lb battery.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ8IsMRFM5o
Here's the fireproof bag I referred to....
Call me an alarmist. Just not worth the hassle for an 8lb savings.
