94 to 96 elec changes

Hi all,

I recently purchased a '94 XLH 1200, looking for replacement and new parts online (such as handle bar controls) i noticed that from '96 on there are a lot more options and majority of websites say that the parts aren't compatible with my '94.

So i was wondering if anyone know what the changes in electronic were in '96 if any?

Thanks TStephen, That's good to know, I might start looking at some of the '96 parts, but will have a deeper look at the bike to make sure i will be able to sort them out.

Haha thanks, it's my first bike and was the right price, but so far I am loving it.
