Default Change headlight mount and / or bucket

Hey guys, my bike (09 XL1200L) has 6 inch extended forks, I'd like to go to 8. The problem is that my headlight won't adjust down far enough (even now with the 6 over). I currently have the Joker Machine bracket, but I obviously need something else, the Joker just doesn't have enough adjustment.

I'm willing to change the whole bucket but would like to retain my Daymaker light. Is there an aftermarket bucket, preferably chrome, that will hold the daymaker?

I have a hole in my lower tree but its pretty far back and I'm concerned any bracket I mount there will hit the neck.

Also not sure how much of a wiring mess I'm going to get into trying to change out the bucket.

Thoughts on best way to do this?

That hole will take the mounting bracket from a Custom. Then with the headlamp bucket also from a custom you will be all set.

Part #14 is the bracket:

I hope you can make out the bracket in the picture. This is a 1200 Custom.

That front end is a 2008. The bucket is chrome.

You are lucky to already have that hole in the lower tree....I had to drill mine to properly position a 7" headlight on my 2011 Low
