Default 1200 XLC to Clubstyle

Looking to make some modifications to my 2001 1200xlc but have not come across good information to address the following problems:
1) I want to get rid of the stock handlebars and risers but the gear indicator and speedo are attached directly to the risers. Has anybody come up with solution to this other than the fork mounted relocation kits. I am looking to install 10 inch risers with moto or t bars.

Similar to what my handlebars look like

Stock set up

Front end look I'm going for
2) I want to put a quarter fearing on but the XLC has a bigger (bottom mounted) headlight/housing that is too big for the fairings. Are there other years/models that are also bottom mounted but the smaller size (5 1/4 I think).

I know the easy solution is to find another model sportster, but I've got too much money wrapped up into the engine of this one.

Please help!

You could buy the autometer universal speedo mount like a alot guys do..

This guy used a piece of pipe and a longer bolt for his front tank mount , so it peaks out from under his gas tank..

I would recommend dkcustoms indicator light mount or handle bar top clamp with indicator, BUT I'm pretty sure you'll have to change your indicators lights to those of a normal model.. I believe the customs use different ones then huggers, standards, etc

I was right about the Dk stuff on custom models, they provide you with harley part numbers for the required parts

Seems to me the speedo could be mounted between the risers on the green bike. Might have to fabricate a mount, but the locations seems right. Just a thought.
