Default New brake line for z bars with 6 inch rise?

Ok so I'm about to attempt to do a handlebar swap for the first time. I've got a stock Iron 883 with stock bars(4 inch rise I think). It looks like I've got plenty of slack in my throttle cables and clutch line, and a little in my brake line. My question is, am I going to need to replace my brake line to increase rise by only two inches?
I've attached a few shots of the brake line as of now with the current bars. As a side note, does the pigtail and the stretched rubber grommet on the brake line seem normal?
Thanks for any help!

Should I just replace the brake line anyway?

You may be able to get away with keeping the stock line if it is only 2 inches. Only way to tell is to try it, unless there is someone on the forum who has made this exact switch and can tell you. I am hoping that is the case and someone else chimes in with a definite answer for you.

Even if you don't need to, I would recommend switching the brake line anyways. You can make your own, or buy a nice one from @Magnum Shielding. They make great stuff.

Check out their website or give them a call.

They really are great folks to deal with.

I used Russell when I changed to 8" mini apes and 4" over tubes … simply measure from the master cylinder to the caliper and order that length … the fittings you will need to order will give you the slack you need … Russell is a one piece hose and you get the fittings you want for the ends

I would just replace it to get rid of the 3 piece line. I used a braided stainless Magnum Shielding Build Your Own kit. Cut the line to length and assembles in 5 minutes. I ordered mine with a 10mm 60° banjo fitting for the caliper and I chose a 10mm 180° fitting to match the lines on the bars I used.
