Magic I guess

That's not many miles yet, some more miles could help, but also the proper tune will affect the smoothness, something that you can see first hand as you do autotune sessions if you have a powervision or similar tuner.

I use 5th gear all the time on the highway. At 70-75mph it's right in the sweet spot.

This isn't a fair assessment. Some bike do have "issues" where the vibe is excessive and makes for a bad experience. Once you start playing with hardware it can make things worse.

He has to do a nut and bolt and tire balance check. Especially motor mounts. Running aftermarket riser or bars? Maybe they're the prob, check all those bolts. Could be poor exhaust fitment, etc etc etc.. Worst case is your crank is out of whack....doubtful but I'm illustrating that it can be 1 of many things.

I completely redid my stage 1 (scrapped the short shots) and had a proper dyno tune, among other things. Runs like a dream with the "appropriate" amount of vibration.

My '07 has certain ranges that vibrate more than others, like yours does, but none that make the mirrors useless. I also have the Vieds fuel system on mine and I have noticed that if I change the enrichment of the front cylinder, it also changes the rpm range of the vibrations. This might account for variations from bike to bike.
