Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me with something that has me baffled. I have a 2003 xl883c Anniversary Edition Sportster. I've been having issues with it losing power when it warms up. I have replaced the plugs, wires, and coil. After much research and a hundred questions later I have concluded my igition module is bad. I took the cover off from the nose cone to take a look and it has a Crane Cams H1-4 single fire module. I can replace it, no problem. I'm not concerned with that. My issue is I look under the bike to locate the connector to find it is hanging and not connected to the ignition module as shown in the repair manual. I traced the wire coming from the module to somewhere behind the battery, then I'm lost. If I replace the module should I plug it into the connector where it is supposed to be? I can't figure out what the previous owner did. I have included a pic of the connector. Thank you for any help and suggestions.
