48 mirrors
I have a 2017 48. I am used to having the mirrors on top of the bars instead under them. Maybe because I'm used to them on top but it doesn't seem like I can see what's behind as well. Can you mount them on top like a regular sportster and if so, do I need any parts to do it? Thanks

I have a 2020 48 with the stock underslung mirrors rear view was poor so I fitted HD mirror extensions. HD claim they dont fit but only due to one of the extensions having a lug/tab on it ( I pick up pattern parts) so I just cut it off on a bench grinder....fits great so I set the mirrors up so I can just so the outer edge of my hip. with no apparent blind spot from mirror to shoulder check...

Only way i could get mine to adjust to be able to see good was to loosen my controls and push them forward just a bit , then they was to close to tank for my comfort so i flipped em back on top , and ordered a diff set of mirrors
