I hear that, I though riding my Virago was fun, but the 1200 Sporster I just got puts anything else to shame! I smile every single time I get on it!

You know. The big twins are nice bikes. I have respect with any Harley. Nothing is like a Sportie. It's like a Hot Rod. I have loud drag pipes. It looks sweet and humble until you start it up. Birds fly, women moving their kids off the street, car alarms going off. I love it! The sound, the ride and the bike. My bike is for keeps. I don't think I'll ever sell it.

I'll + 1 to my prior post......girl I went to school with lives just down the road from me. She recently inheritedher dad's'97 model 1200. I'm very seriously thinking about putting off buying the RK, and buying her dad's Sporty to make a chopper out of.....old school style. [sm=icon_rock.gif] Bigtwins are great looking bikes, and obviously have always carried the weight of some prettybig egos......the downside? Less gas mileage. More sluggish in the curves. Cost waaay more. Don't get me wrong, I still want my Road King one day....but I have Sporty fever like a **** right now!!!!

Yeah,I'm lovin' my Sportster too!It serves it's purpose perfectly for me.The only reason I would get a bigger bike is for the longer hauls, which I rarely have time for.I would love to have a Road King Classic, but the wallet says not yet.I'll blast around on my Sporty for now... [sm=yeahsmile.gif]

They're straight out of the Harley accessories catalog. I put them on my 1200 C. I now have tubeless both front and rear.

I too am in love with my Sporty. It's the most fun bike I've ever owned or ridden. It puts a smile on my face every time I saddle up. She's a keeper.

When your big bike buddies kid you about riding a Sporty, look in those lying eyes and you'll see pure envy....
