Default FUEL OCTANE LEVEL

I just bought a 2005 sportster roadster last week and have been looking through a lot of posts since then. One I read that worked!! My bike was a little sluggish at idle and low rpm riding - also a little engine knocking. Ran my 83 octane out - filled up with 91 and it was amazing. It is like I got a tune up. HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS FOR ALL "NEWBIES" LIKE ME.

Owner's Manual. That would help a lot. I ordered one 2 days after I got my bike. Still "in process" on the HD web site. Is ordering off of their site always slow?
