Default 2007 XL1200c Wheel Cross compatibly

I just got quoted almost 1000$ to replace a single spoke, do a true adjustment and replace a tire/belt/tube. I find this to be really crazy high and was wondering what wheels are compatible with the 07 XL1200 Custom? It's way cheaper to just buy a nice used wheel... I haven't found a good list online so before I spend money I was hoping the forum could help me out. I heard the 19in wheels are nice

You are talking about the front wheel, right? 2008+ Sportsters went to a 25mm axle so you will want something earlier, probably 2000-2007. A 19" wheel will work in place of your 21", the tire diameter is only slightly different.

I suspect that the OP is referring to his front wheel, not the rear, possibly referring to the tyre, rim tape (not belt), spoke replacement, truing and wheel balancing. I think that is very expensive for the materials and the work required.

It has been said before that Sportsters handle best with a 19" front wheel.

The front wheel from a 2007 XL883 standard model or an XL1200N 'Nightster' will be a direct replacement on a 2007 XL1200C 'Custom'.

Bear in mind that the Nightster rim is black, so the best option with a 19" front wheel is the standard XL883 with it's chrome rim.

I agree and misread due to belt
My error.

In reference to Front: Any 19" 2000-07 Sportster or 2000-05 Dyna is compatible ... (only have to change bearings 04-05 Dyna from 1" to from 3/4")
