Default A few new parts....

Made some changes adding some new parts over the last few weeks and thought I would share in case anyone is interested...

New 5 3/4" x 9" smooth headlight with visor (still need to order a taller mount for it I think)

Ness stage one big sucker to replace my SE AC, decided to run it open and just use the flames AC trim cover made for the oval cover on big twins.
Thought about just plain chrome cover but this was cheap for now.

I changed out my 2" straight risers for some thick round top 3" tall risers and also picked up a chrome fork stem bolt cover to blend in the symetry of of the fork tubes, risers and flush gas cap.

And lastly here it is all together, also have my Sundowner seat and detachable backrest on since the Mrs. and I have been taking some long rides the past few weekends.

Certainly a different look from my signature pic showing the stripped down bobber look.

Good looking scoot. How did you mount your speedo, or is it an aftermarket unit. Been trying to figure out how to go with straight risers on my custom to add mini-apes to, but they will put my speedo at an almost unreadable angle.

Hey Flatlander,
I used an XL/Dyna speedo mount and indicator light setup which was designed to go on the handlebar clamp bolts and just remover my chrome cover across the front of my trees, ovaled out the bracket some with a die grinder and mounted it there. Its nice and low so it looks out of the way but the speedo and indicator lights can be seen just fine. Here's a side shot of it....

You can also use extension sockets or similar spacer to raise it up to your desired height.
If you need any info. on part numbers ans such just shoot me a PM.

Those risers look awesome. And you're right.... The bike does look completely different from how it looks in your signature. Shows the versatilitya Sportster can have.
