RE: Battery tender question.
I would strongly suggest you get yourself the brand name "Battery Tender" from Deltran Corporation. I have used this one: http://batterytender.com/product_inf...7d90adec68dfb4(they can be had new on eBay for far less) for years, and the "Jr." version is just as good. It's nice after not having ridden ina month or twoto get a warm (40* +) day in February, walk out to the shed/garage, unplug the Battery Tender, put in the key, startyour bikeright up, and take yourself for a ride. Deltran's Battery Tender lets you do this with ease and never any harm to the battery.

RE: Battery tender question.
One of the few HD brand accessories I have is the battery tender. When I bought mine the pigtail was still included, now you have to buy it seperate. The nice thing is that once the pigtail is on you don't have to keep removing the side cover and sliding the battery out, it is just plug and play.
