Default Nighty nite, Nightster

Ok, so I did it. I went for a ride today and my nightster starting acting up. Was making a whistling puff like noise when I shut it down. Every once in while it would studder, or misfire. Kinda like skipping a beat, then I look down to see that I could not read the speedo as it was fogged over on the inside....[sm=headbang.gif]add this to the lovely $hit stain on the cam cover from the timing cover, and well you get the picture. While it was a blast to ride, a6 month old bike should not do any of this, so I called my dealer and traded it in on the new 2008 FatBob they had on the floor... it is candy red sunglow with forward controls. I am having them do the stage 1 with SE slip ons. I am getting hosed for about 3grand, but I could not take it any more. If this one does not go any better, I guess I will have to take up bingo!!! I will miss the look, and the style of the 1200N, but I bet the mrs. will enjoy the back more on the dyna...

Sorry to hear about the problems with the Nightster, but I'm sure you will enjoy the new ride....

Have fun out there, and be safe...

Street Glide. I thought my dealer had a used 07 with 3000 miles, but it sold before I got there. Black Cherry!

What the hell? Loose A/C screws? Is this something that we have to look out for now? Is this covered by the Moto Co?

I'll let you know if it gets covered. knowing what I do now, I would re loctite everything that could ever make it's way into the motor.

Hope you have less troubles with your new bike Lewd_Dude. Now where are the pics? I haven't seen any candy red sunglow Fat Bobs and I'm curious what it looks like.
