Default 1200 sporty help 1340 build up

I'm looking for someone for a buddy to contact about building up his 1200 sporty. He wants to put 1340 jugs on it. If there is someone who has done this or can lead us to some information about it please contact me. Thanks so much. Have a great day.

Someone has posted the site before. It calls for doing more engine mods than just putting jugs on it. I plan on doing the 90 ci mod one day...

Don't know about what your asking, But Zipper's makes some real good build up kits for sportsters.

here's a link http://www.zippersperformance.com/

to be more specific for sportsters. http://www.zippersperformance.com/ca...ts.asp?cat=865

Zippers is definately worth looking into.I'm running their Redshift cams(.615) ,titanium collars, steppeped guides and springs and couldn't be happier with their products and service..They know how to hotroda Sporty motor. Give them a call and let them know what you're looking for, they'll be glad to help.

Unfortunately, their machine work has taken a nose dive. I can't recommend them anymore, but it's your choice. Research various shops and see which one you like.

Do your research before you choose. There are problems with all the companies mentioned. Check xlforum.com too, or quadcambastards.com People on both those have had great success and there have been a couple of failures. Appearantly there is an oiling issue with the 04+ heads.

I'm about 1 1/2 hours north of Zippers, They have a hell of a reputation for building fast Reliable stuff in our area. I have personally found their service before and after the Sale to be top notch!
