I was at the stealer today to make a reservation for my 1000 mile. This young lady rides up with her new Nightser and goes to park and just drops the bike. She was riding with her Husband or Boyfried beside her. Of course all the guys standing around go running to help her get it up.Her male friend stops us from helping her get it back up and makes her pick it up. She takes the stance and pulls it back up on its stand. I thought that was a good lesson.Ifshe had been on her own with no one to help, she would have been able to do it.
Luckly it did have engine guards on itso nomajor damage.
She forgot to fully engage the jiffy stand. I felt for her it was a sweet looking black Nightster. She wasn't bad looking herself. As I said though she pulled the bike back up she had her back to the bikebent knees and just pulled it right up.
Sounds like he was treating her like a child come on she just droped her bike and he wouldnt help her pick it up what if she throwed her back out or something sounds like a ******* to me
In all fairness to the guy he was spotting her to insure it didn't go back down. If I remember correctly the dealership teaches this technique to new lady riders in what they call garage parties.
i always make sure my kickstand is down on the ground with weight on it before i left the bike loose....with my N it seems like that stand loves to fly right up...
