Default saddlebags on nightster?

Has anyone put saddle bags on a nightster? How did you relocate lights & plate?

Didn't need to relocate.... Keep the bags at about 12" and they fit behind both the lights and the plate.....

would like to get rigid leather bags from HD but needs alot of custom relocating and I'm not a wrench. your bags look like throw overs, not really what I'm after. thanks

Not sure how you'd mount it up on the sporty because of the exposed suspension. One of the members on here Jackel, had one on his Night Train. It was mounted to his swingarm and looked awesome on the bike. So if you could figure out a place to mount it on the Nightster it would look great.
