Default HD New 2008 Dark Custom "Cross Bones" FLSTSB

Just for information purposes, but what do you guys think of this new factory stripped down, 2008 Springer "Cross Bones" model?

Seems like it 'slipped into the lineup' without a lot of notice....

Not a bad price either (for a Softail), with a MSRP of $16,795..

As they say; "Not Bad, Not Bad At All".....

Check out the below site and 'click' on Cross Bones..

WOW. Very sweet! They did a nice job on the retro look. I am glad to see they brought back the springer.I wonder why they release a new model now. You would think they would offer that as a 2009. I like this bike much more then the rocker.

I like this a lot, and would take it any day over the $21,000+ Rocker....

Didn't think they would ever release a Springer in a 'non-CVO' model, especially one stripped down like this...

Wonder if they have 'doubts' about the Rocker, and decided to release a retro-springer to test the market.

I like the bike. Have you guys noticed HD continues make "retro" looking bikes. I really think HD should consider bringing back the old motors in a new "Retro motor product line". They should make a few bikes with either a modern standard Shovel, Pan or Knuckle.

I am really glad they brought back the Springer. It is one of my favorite Harleys, after the Street Bob of course.

I swear I was just thinking the other day that they shouldn't have discontinued the Springer Softail . . and then this came out today. Wierd!
