Well they are but the mans creative side is coming out and we must encourage it.
He is stuck in the snow, got to burn off that energy somehow or he might go crazy.
As long as he can get to the molsenice store he won't go crazy, plus his day dreams about ridin' helps keep all them 6th graders from gettin to him too! how am I supposed to get a second job? 'Tween my regular job and ridin and polishing chrome I aint got time for no second job! Ridin, cleanin' & polishing is a second job. Matt is on his own when it comes to a Harley, besides at 21, he don't need a Harley and a Honda, when he grows up, then he can get him a Harley. His Daddy aint gonna buy him one like some lucky little young p***** around here! But maybe his wife will, like some others around here

So tell us how ya really feal - I'm impressed - ya managed two well placed "slams" in one post - not bad. I decided to throw caution out the window and took off this morning for a ride - multiple layers and a full face - one of the most needed thearapy sessions yet - pegs were awsome - had boots on and I had plenty of room to shift. Even pulled over at one point to snap a pic of the fresh rock salt in the road [:@]
Ran into a buddies fauther in law who is a ferier (sp?) - he shoes the horses all the people like to bet on - aledgedly one of the best and has a few patented shoes to his name (buy the way for those who wern't aware - the race ***** use aluminium shoes)- he loved the work I did and I asked if it were posible to weld somthing like this up - he said "no problem" - he's headed to Fla. to shoe some horses down there but wants to get together when he gets back - should be fun. I to was thinging rounded or octagonal.
Oh - what to do next:
Mabey I'll come up with some sort of relocation thingy for my rear turn signals - any ideas?

I don't care what you think. That is my dads way of saying he loves me and get out of the house and go get a job. But i guess he just wanted me to enjoy the good years of riding before i get old and start losing my hair like someone i know *caugh********caugh*.

I didn't mention no names so why you pickin on me. Didn't yo Momma teach you no respect fer yer elders boy?
Fran check out my turn signal relocation pics for the rear ones. It might give you some food for thought. What would it cost for some blank castings for the front, say with the hole for fork tube and mounting, but none for turn signals? I can machine them down and drill the holes for the signals. I might like to try them round not hex, hell can't copy you exactly. Oh and start spending your kids inheritance and "buy" something for the bike. Sheese. [sm=devilangel.gif]
Wife keeps me pennieles and there hasn't been squat for snow - looking like were gettin slamed early this week - then I'll have a handful of paper to participate in the dead-president exchange program.
Ok so I cant sit still - I couldn't find anything like I was looking for, Im a cheap sob - whatever - take a look and tell me what ya think. I do have to say they are comfortable ....
OK, molsenice, here's a project for you. These darn front control pegs are a nusance trying to keep my feet up on them as I bounce down the road (I sure miss those mid controls). I like (and want to keep) the HD hardware, but nobody makes a sturrip or heel rest for the darn things. It would be nice of there were a matching (or replacement) spacer as shown in the attached photo that had a heel rest attached. Come up with something that matches the rest of the hardware and you can go into business selling lots of them (or at least one set to me!).
Ron39 - I tried several designs before comming up with something which worked, triing to do a male/female yoke was not strong enough, twisted the aluminum right off - this is why I came up with the bolt through arangement that I did for my foot peg rests. Take a closer look, if the top part of the rest wasn't there, all you would have would be heal rests. How is it you get away with bringing the bike into the house? or is that just a piece of carpet you park the bike on?
Looken good. Very unique desighn. I like it. I might have to get in the shop and fab some. Ive tried highway pegs on crash bars, but im too long legged. They are uncomfortable for me. Your desighn looks like the answer im looking for. I might try it in iron so I can chrome them out.[
Did you cast those? My foundation furnace is K.O.ed. Id have to fab with iron.
