I just recently purchased a 2003 Sportster Anniversary Edition for 4k. It has the 1200 V-twin upgrade with an added 100c bore. 1300cc total with screamin eagle heads and harley strait pipes. Everything was converted to the sportster 1200 to include gauge cluster, and even the seat. The only thing stock on it is the frame, fuel tank, and handlebar block. Someone had a lot of money to blow. I have no complaints at all when it comes to power. When you open it up it's all you can do to hang on. Looking at the amount of money put into the bike however and the amount I purchased it for, if one were to go through with this on their own dime; be prepared to take it all as a loss when it comes time to sell it because the Vin# reflects an 883...hope someone has cash to match your price cause no bank will finance it for more than 3700.00 bucks. I love the ride however and can't knock it. Glad someone else shelled out the dollars for the sweet ride.
