I thought that stage 1 was just the air cleaner. Stage 2, or is it 3 is the cylinders and pistons. I did the V-Twin kit for about $500 with gaskets. (cylinders, pistons, etc.) I put together a quicky video of the process. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNOgFnqtTaQ

If you are justincreasing the cylinder size with no head work just buy a set of pistons and have your cylinders bored. I wouldn't spend my money on that over priced SE stuff!!
Kieth Black or Wiesco build perfectly good pistons!!

Nice to have money to do things like that ain't it...?
Suppose you tire of the bike in say 1 or 2 years from now and want to trade-in or sell outright... Keep in mind the money you spend now on an 883 will more then likely be a given to the new owner as the bike won't be recognized as a true 1200! Like many homeowners have found out "beach front" properties with added pools don't yield anymore value then had they not put a pool in!
I would go with the idea of new pistons and having the heads bored... lot less $$$ yielding nearly the same results and when you do turn the bike you won't feel the loss nearly as bad..
Just an opnion here... your bike, your money..

Thanks for the responses.
First i live in Argentina. I will travel to USA and planning to buy everything there for the difference of price. Here all is twice than there.
The dealer here says he think is a bad idea because if i sell it in less than 2 years it will void my warranty on the engine. So i dont know what to do, the kit looks very nice but dont wont to throw money.
This is the kit, i may be able to buy it for less on ebay http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
My 883 L is 2008.
By the way, i just took it yesterday from the dealer and today had my first drop, didnt know what happen but bike went on the right side and i have no strength to keep it... very sad but i hope this will be my first and last drop.
Thanks guys!
