I love everything about it, want one, but it looks too upright, like it needs to lean back a tad. thoughts?

Depends on the use case, I suppose. I'm not having any passengers on the bike, it's more functional for storing and holding items. For that purpose, it's great and the lack of lean doesn't bother me. It's also a great place to perch your helmet.
