Default "The LURCH" 1989 Sportster with rake kit.

When I bought this and got it put back together this is how it looked
Hi I had posted in the new guy section with two photos, but this is a facebook album of the bike, changes I made over two years now and ideas I stole cause I liked the way they looked. I do everything ultra cheap. Some photos look ok some just look weird. When I first got it the kid I bought it from did not know what he wanted to do with it. He had it half apart and wanted to make a cafe racer. He bought all kinds of parts and gave me everything in milk crates and boxes. I ask did it run? He said yes it needs a battery. I put in a small atv battery I had shot some starter fluid in the carb, choked the **** out of it and it roared to life. He said he rode it once from Cincinnati back to Columbus with blown front shock seals and hard tail struts on back instead of shocks... and he had the handle bars mounted on the forks. OK not for me. I made it my own and just rideable. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=1399b1c6fa ok the link is not working but you can click on me and see my photo page that way.

Maybe just move some pics over to the forum? Im curious to see what "Lurch" looks like now, but not interested enough to go scavenging through Facebook.
