Frankly, I have no desire to trash the bike or myself. I have never been impressed by those that do wheelies and just don't see the point. I cringe when I see all those metric riders doing it.[sm=badidea.gif]

I did one. On the road at night with no one else around.

I won't be doing anymore anytime soon.

It wasn't that exciting and for me the risk is too great for something that isn't exciting.

Now that I've lowered mine in the rear and did a decent stage one I have no problem walking her on her hind feet.....Yes, I confess,I do it and I do it often.

But I also chase married women...I'm into high risk behavior and admit it....So shoot me.

Look guys, it's called a Sportster....Not a PawPaw bike....I've got my PawPaw bike for when I wanna/needta look responsible, legal and 'safe' to women and small children.....But guess what?....I can also pop her when hitting second!

YEHAW!

I'm used to the V-Rod which doesn't have low end torque and sometimes forget the Sportster does.... Didn't do it on purpose.

I'll admit that I've done my fair share of wheelies before. Off-road, motocross, and on the street. But they were on cheap Jap bikes. Why would anyone take the chance on destroying a $10,000.00 motorcycle? Even if your successful, landing the front wheel is gonna be hard on the front end. Bikes are just too heavy to be graceful.
