Default Sissy bar install

Boy was this fun! Decided to go rigid to make it a lil cheaper. Right side sideplate when on no problem. Left side was a different story. Went to unbolt the turn signal nut and it unscrewed from the turnsignal itself, leaving the bolt and nut still inside the fender lol. Ended up having to take the cover off to see the nut that is attached in the middle of the bolt. But to do so i ended up having to cut the wire to the signal. Was running late to my brothers bday party since i didnt see it taking more then 20 min to unbolt and slide these in. So i bolted everything back on, boy was the signal a pain to get back attached, without the signal wired up. Ended up taking it back apart this morning and rewiring the signal. So what i thought was gonna be 20 min ended up taking me an hour and a half. But its always more fun installing things yourself if u can.

Unless you have the bike on a jack or lift, that left side can be a royal pain to work on.

My left bolt did the exact same thing! Turn signal came apart into pieces lol, I did not cut anything though ended up getting it all re assembled. I just unhooked the wire from the brackets inside the wheel well and it gave me enough extra length. I also did not have a jack. Looks good now though.
