Default 09 Nightster died on me

was running my Nightster down some pretty twisty roads, and all of a sudden it just dies on me, i pull over, and open the fuel cap, and plenty of fuel...powered it off with the button/key, and tried to restart...I didn't hear the fuel pump run. so i checked all the fuses, all were ok...turned the switch to run, and i hear the pump run, started fine ran good on the way back home. just had my 1000 mi service 2 days ago...perhaps the fuses just needed to be re-seated?

Anyone have similar issues with their Nightster?

kind regards

Take it to the dealer and have them check the DTCs, good chance there will be one set for loss of power to fuel pump (system relay). Better yet check them yourself to confirm power loss to fuel pump, don't reset them, let the dealer see them. They might replace your relay under warranty, if they don't buy two and carry one with and next time it dies just change out the relay and confirm. It happened to me, dealer gave me a new one and I bought a second for a spare. Not an uncommon problem on the Sporty.
