Let's talk sound only VH Short Shots
 

I have SE 2 slip-ons with SE AC and it's jetted. I like the deep sound at low rpm but as I take off and the rpm go up the sound just kind of tails off. I want a pipe that gets louder as the rpm go up. Did any of you have SE slip-on's befor the Short Shots? So just on the sound what do you think of them? I like a deep sound but not obnoxiously loud. Do most of you have the quiet baffle? I don't have a lot of $ so I want to get it right the first time... Thank's for any advice you can give me on there sound.......GP.

Sorry I dont know about the short shots but what about the big city thunder baffles for your existing SEIIs. I have heard some positive comments about them on here and they would be cheaper than short shots.

I had SE II's on before my short shots, and they do get louder as the rps get higher.&nbsp\\; Not a deep sounding as the SE II's.

Oh, and I do not have the quiet baffles.

Thanks for the info. I believe someone said the quiet baffles gives them a deeper sound. But I don't know how much they would quiet the pipes down. Seems like they would still get louder as the rpm go up, Thats one of the things I'm looking for. Did you notice the SE II don't get louder when the rpm went up?&nbsp\\;
Any one with quiet baffles out there?...
