Default Removing Breather Bolts

Have an 04 1200 Custom. I have been unsuccessful in removing the hollow breather bolts. Is a special tool required to remove them? [sm=confused06.gif]

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to because the 'Rocker Cover' breather bolts simply unscrew with a socket or an open end/box end wrench.

Just be careful, I took mine out a couple of years ago due to leakage and the damn thing broke. Luckily a part of it was still sticking out so I could lock on with some pliers to finish the job. Just don't yank real hard, find a rubber mallet and giv'er a little tap a roo on the ratchet.

lol,,yep,,its an allen type bolt,,and if you're having a real tough time someone may have used red instead of blue thread lock.
if you get em off,,use blue when you reinstall,,blue is anti vibration thread lock,,red is semi perm.
