rear lowering kits?

Check out the 10" shocks from Licks cycles. I want to lower my Nightster and I think that I will be going with them soon. If you do a thread on the subject, you should find info on them. Another suggestion would be rigid struts, but they don't seem to be the most popular around these parts. I do kind of have to agree, it's best to keep shocks on a non ridgid frame, but Biltwell makes some appealing struts. Whatever you decide, it should be cool. Good luck...

Grow a set, and go for it. Hehehehe
Get a set of 1" shorter shocks.
Or if you are of the type, relocate your shock mounts. Takes some doing, but doable. That's what lowering kits are. If I go ahead with the Ironhead "Whitester" build for Momma, I'll be doing it. I LOVE the look of a Nightster, jus' TOO MANY runnin' round, already.

Momma's back limited us to 3 tanks of gas, approx 200 miles. But now she rides her own, we did a couple of 350-400 days. She's not 25 , and I am over twice that #.

Glad to hear that you and the Mrs get out on the road together.
