The Euro bikes engines turn at a lower rpm for a given road speed than ours do, the 27 tooth on the 883 enhances its acceleration but increases its engine rpm for a given road speed. Using the 27 tooth on a 1200 would increase its acceleration ability but reduce fuel economy. Any change to the CS pulley requires a speedo recalibration.
Unless you're a drag racer and timing your acceleration runs, pulley changing is not going to do much for the seat of the pants feel.
